The manager of this store is rude and unprofessional. Please be aware that while their policy is no refund/ no exhanges this also includes when they poorly wrap your items and/or pack them in your car. I spent $1400 in this store. I got home to unwrap my items only find that a $30 item was broken. I returned to the store to explain that the wrapping probably wasn't the best and the response was 'when you left it wasnt broken.' 'What other furniture store do you know that would refund for damage'. Shocked and dismayed at the combativeI attitude, I left another $150 worth of purchases on the table and walke dout the door. Spend the money at a reputable place that will honor good customers and not make you feel like you purchased from a swap meet.
The man that runs this business is a crook. He is currently awaiting trial for trouble with the feds. He collects money from the vendors and does not pay his 73 year old female partner a cent. He has stolen from his partner and will steal from you. Do not do business with this company.
This place is wonderful with the nicest workers and the best prices anywhere. I have shopped there several times and they are better every time I visit. The store is very professionally decorated and lookds great. No wonder they are growing so and are gaining so many new vendors.
I am a new vendor at Greystone Antiques and Marketplace and would like to invite all my friends, family and neighbors to this wonderful place. It is the best kept secret on 280! You can't imagine all the wonderful merchandise in this building. The management has really stepped up their game and answered the request from the local designers and decorators for a new place to buy for their clients. There are over 40 different vendors each with their own unique style and taste. Come by and experience our new Gallery.
OMG! OMG! OMG! Have you been to Greystone Antiques and Marketplace lately? The New Management has upgraded everything. I was in on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 and the place looked fabulous. I could not get over all the different styles and selections they have available in antiques, new furniture, reproduction pieces and also great accessories!! I am a local decorator and will definitely go to this place first when a client needs help. Also they have some great candles burning all over the place. It kind of gave me a ZEN feeling as I shopped.
Buyer Beware! I would not recommend Greystone Antiques & Marketplace to New Vendors, New Clients, New Customers, and Non-profits. I have experienced first hand... abusive, unprofessional, dishonest and illegal business practices. The business has been built on a "crooked" foundation. Invest your time, money, and energy in the stellar Antique Malls....Chelsea Antique Mall, Hoover Antique Mall, Bama Flea, Encore, and the new Antique store in the old Ethan Allen Building. All of these guys have been in business for years, they are top notch, and they run their shops like fine oiled machines.
